Default Rugged Ridge Mirror Reloc Kit....HELP

Im trying to do the mirror relocation by rugged ridge and step one is take the mirror off the original arm connected to the door....

THERE HAS TO BE A TRICK!

the mirror is not coming off.....Anyone done this kit and run into this problem??

it will feel like your goona break it off but you need to rock the mirror back and forth while pulling up. its on there tight but it will come off.you could try a little wd40 to slicken it up. when i did min e i thought it was gonna break but it does take some force.

Be careful putting the mirror on the relocation arm so you don't strip it out.

So I did my second attempt on this damn project and again my jeep won. I cant figure out how to get these damn things off....This is going to have to become a weekend project where I can actually put effort on this. Not a when i get home from work scenario...

This is really sad

Having trouble with them also. Drivers side comes out fine, passenger side is stuck. Also having issues getting the drivers side into the RR bracket. Fun fun fun! Love my JK! Sure would be boring without all these little issues and mods to play with.

Just put my relo kit on today....the passenger's side is USELESS. Have any of you figured a way to align it so that it is at least visible from the driver's seat. Talk about a major blind spot.

one more thing....what was the piece of plastic that came with it? Its hard to describe, but its two semi circles connected. Why does it always seem when I do a project there are always leftover pieces...Does anyone know what I am talking about?
