Help choosing a 3" spring lift
I'm looking at three 3" lifts (actually I'm looking at the TF 2.5" but from what I gather on a 2dr soft top I'll get more than 2.5")
Black Diamond (BD) - looks like I get a new track bar with it over the others.
TeraFlex (TF) - seems to be one of the more popular at least on this forum
DBS - looks like I get a front sway disconnect over the other two (actually I'm looking at the JKS disconnect with any of the kits). I also gain control arm camber bolts. I do not get a rear break relocation bracket as I do with the BD and TF
Some questions:
On this small of a lift is the track bar necessary. If I go with the TF or DBS should I add it? If it is necessary why is it not necessary on the rear?
On this small of a lift do I really need camber bolts?
Do I really need the break relocation braket on the rear. With sway disconnect on the front, it flexs more than the rear does it not make more sence to relocate the break lines on the front.
Is there much differenc in the components for all of these guys? Can you you honestly say one does someting different or better than the others.
I think I'll be fine with 3" and don't think I'll ever want to go higher but is one better for latter add on's than the others (I'm guessing TF is).
I know there are differing opinion on the Death Wobble and it seem the overwhelming answer is to make sure the componets are installed and torqued properlly. Is one of the systems less prone to the Deth Wobble?
What am I missing here?
