Just installed the Rock hard sport cage and now have lots of wind noise and possilbe water leakage around the front of the freedom top. It appears that there is some interferance were the new upper front crossbar connects to the existing cage. Is this common? It looks like the fix is to grind the inside of the Freedom Top panels for clearance. Has anyone found a better solution?

 

unfortunately, yes, this is common and you will have to clearance your freedom top panels just a bit in order to get them to sit right.

 

i have a small amount of water come in every so often from there after installing the front cage but nothing major. it really has to be pouring out to get some drops in there.

 

I just found this problem. I will install some thicker weather stripping and see what happens.

 

Anyone have pictures of the grind job they had to do to the top?
