Default JK Unlimited Rubicon 2007

I am getting a lift of 2.5" for this jeep and I picked out a Tera Flex that has shock adapters and uses the stock shocks. The Jeep only has 15000 on it so I am sure they are not worn out yet. My question is is there any real disadvantage to going this way as opposed to new full length shocks. I was considering a Skyjacker kit but they don't supply the dog bone extenders for the anti sway bars. Tera flex includes a new rear set and you use the original rears on the front. They also claim that lifts like Skyjacker require 4.5" back space rims or wheel spacers because they don't supply these extenders and with theirs you can still use the stock rims with stock tires on their lift. I understand that when I go to 33-35" tires I will need the spacers or extra backspace on the rims. Anybody have any real experience with these modest lift as opposed to the 4" I see everywhere on this site. I would like to know if there is anymore gotchas or anything bad about Teraflex in particular.

You will need 4.5" bs no matter what lift you are getting assuming you are going to get 12.5" wide wheels, 33" or 35".

Teraflex guys are conceded. They put their stickers everywhere. J/K, its a fine product.

Out of those two lifts, the TF is much better. But, with either, if you are running stock wheels AND tires you don't need 4.5 bs. You will only need this for bigger tires.

I've never run the shock extenders, I've always just replaced the shocks so I can't help ya there.

I have the 2.5" TF - no problems until I put the longer rear sway bar links on - "kissed" the wheel around corners - I just put TF wheel spacers on - runs / looks great! (I just need some 35s!)

I have this 2.5 TF bb and I had no problems with it. I just put the rear swaybar links on the inside (away from tire) until I got spacers.
