Default So lets say you installed a set of LCA's backwards..... LOL

The thread title says it all. I think there may have been a discussion on this before but lets say I put my new (and beautiful) Currie adj. LCA's on backwards. By backwards I mean the gold johnny joint attached to the axel however the bends in the LCA's are pointing inward. They are set to 23" and it rides pretty damn good. (Except that damn track bar bracket squeaking). So do they need to be switched back. I've spoken to some peeps they said it is ok either way.

What say you JK-Forum?

I would install them however the manufactuer's deestruckshuns says to install them. That would eliminate any question.

I agree with redneck. If anything just for the fact that currie is good about the warranty on their parts, but if you installed it wrong and then something happens they dont have to give you anything.

When I called Currie they guy who answered thos phone didn't know and had to go physically look at one of the rigs in the shop. He said technically they would work either way.

Why do you think your LCAs are backwards? Are they front LCAs? I ask because the bends on my front LCAs are pointed inward, and I was very careful during install to keep the exact orientation as the stock front LCAs I was replacing. And, I've helped replace two other sets (TORN and JackMac4) and I'm certain I have correct orientation of the bend in the front LCAs. As to which joint attached where, that's a different question. Mine are "backwards", but the bend in the front LCAs more closely matches the stock components replaced, so I'm leaving it as is.
