Unhappy Help! Tires rubbing brake lines!

Hey guys! Appreciate all of the great info you provide on this site. I spend MANY hours pouring over the threads educating myself.

Here's my problem: I've got a 2008 4-door installed 3"black diamond lift, 15" pacer wheels and 33/12.5/15 Destination MT's.

Didn't seem to have any problems with the brake calipers rubbing as a few have HOWEVER, I am having problems with the tire rubbing the brake lines!! One side has worked through to the metal! Can you tell me how to remedy??? Could I slap some back spacers on there to solve the issue or do I need to move the brake lines?

thanks for any input!!

Nice looking rig...but thats a drag.

bump to see if anyone else knows... but a couple questions:

can you post some more specific pics?

is it only on one brake line?

do you have adjustable trackbars? maybe your axle shifted and is causing this?

anyone else out there with ideas?

Can you take a picture where it's happening? It's very hard to recommend with that type of thing, have you tried a zip tie?

Hmm... I would say the problem is in your wheel backspacing if the backspacing is not 3.75" (because you have 15's) but you're saying the tires are rubbing against the brake lines!?

I've never heard of that before. Check your brake lines. Make sure they are all securely latched/clipped to the frame and not hanging. Hopefully that's the only problem. If it's the brake hose that's rubbing against the tires, than just move it away (they're bendable).

Take a picture of the rubbing area and post. That will help out alot!

Are the tires rubbing in the front or the back, or both?
