Default Skid Plates

Wondering if anyone out there has installed the Rock Hard oil pan, tranny, and catalytic converter skid plate they have offered? I have a 6-speed manual, and don't do a lot of rock climbing, mostly Moab trails, slick rock, sand, etc. I like this from the way it looks as it covers three important issues, and if I install the evap cooler skid I have ordered, this would cover most of my concerns.

I have gas, trans, and engine. My engine and gas tank skid are pretty marked up, the transfer case skid is pretty clean. I guess that says something about my poor driving. But what is the question? I had my engine skid modified to fit the Hemi, now I think I'm going to modify the skids to fit the Full Traction lift.

Is it worth replacing the stock gas tank skid? That seems to be pretty thin... And whats the best engine skid?

I have all the Rock Hard skids. The gas tank skid does not replace the OEM skid, just just goes over the OEM skid (dual skids). I would recommend them.

I just left Moab and I have a complete set of Rock Hard 4X4 skids. I now have marks on every skid except for the evap skid. I think I have more marks on my gas tank skid then any other. I really like these skids.

They seem pretty steep in price for what they are. Are there any other companies out there besides Rock Hard?

agreed 100%. the oem skids are more than enough for protection. being that the oil pan is exposed, it should be protected and the evap can either be relocated or armored up as well.
