Default 16"MT Classics 33" MT MTZ's no lift - rubbing?

Hey all,

Have been trawling through this site for a few days now, and have decided I want a look similar to "I AM''s black 4 door.

I want 16" MT Classic II's with 33" MT MTZ's and will want a lift eventually, but was wondering if anyone has this or a similar setup WITHOUT a lift and if there are any rubbing issues.

I am from Australia and we have a very limited aftermarket range for the JK as yet, so i want to get it right first time!!

Thoughts are much appreciated.

33's and no lift will work. at full flex you will rub a bit though. anything bigger you will need at least 2.5" lift. hth

thanks, tire size 285/75/r16 Mickey Thompson MTZ. Wheels are crager soft 8s size 16x8 backspace of 5.0. It rides great and its just enough size to be capable and still be a daily driver.

No rubbing what so ever at full lock.
I have Pro-comp 17X9 with a 4.5 backspacing on 33's
Sorry I don't have any pic.s. I would take some for you but I just dropped my 4dr off to get a 2.5" lift installed.

Oh and my 4dr had a lot more space between the fender and tire than the 2dr pictured above

Good luck
