I really need to order a roof rack, and Garvin seems to be the front-runner. Does anyone have the Garvin installed? And if so, what do you think? How's the switch from hard to soft top with it?

I actually _like_ the Garvin body mounts, especially after buying the AEV corner guards. :-) I wonder if the license plate is a problem when tilting it back... I expect the Garvin folks thought of that, but it still looks like the license plate would be in the way. :-)

I much prefer the way the Top Five Racks rack splits in the middle, but it's rear mounting point looks too wide, and might interfere with 3rd party bumpers etc.

Anyone else know of a basket-style roof rack they'd like to suggest?

I would love to put one of those on to but I cant find them anywhere...well havent looked that hard. Whats the price on one of those if you found it? I contacted Garvin and they gave me the part # and told me 4wd.com ordered some and it should be on there site soon. I think the garvin racks look great. But what can I say I love a good looking rack...
