...a soft clicking sound coming from the front when I turn right only. It mainly occurs when going slow and turning quite a bit, but now I've convinced myself I hear it at speed sometimes. I tried the wheel bearing test (jack up and wiggle the top and bottom of the wheel, but no movement occurred). Is that still a possibility? I have about 43000 miles, including about 5000 since my 35's went on. Thanks!

 

Have u checked your axle u-joint caps?

 

No. How would I do that?

 

Look at the front axle close to where your tire is underneath your jeep. Where the C on your axle end is, there is a shaft that comes out and has a u-joint on it . I'll look for a pic.

 

This is one with the caps tack welded. These caps have been well known to come off and cause axle damage.

This may sound silly, but check the right sides of both tires for a rock embedded in the tread.

 

Mine does the same thing when it is really warm outside. It goes away during the cooler months. Have never been able to figure it out.

 

Does it go away or is it that you just put the top back on
