NEED HELP - Teraflex lift install.
I just installed a Teraflex 4" lift w/ Lower Front CA's and Upper rear CA's on my buddies JK Unlimited. I set the Upper rear CA's to 18 3/8" per Teraflex recommendation. I measured the stock Upper rear CA's to be 17 3/8 center to center.
The Teraflex Upper CA's set at 18 3/8 is approximately one half turn away from the shortest setting. The pinion angle appears slightly greater than the Stock driveshaft angle. Once the rear axle was completed and back on the ground, the rear springs are bowed back so severely that I cannot place the rear trackbar in either of the first two (top) mounting locations on the supplied Teraflex trackbar Re-location bracket.
The rear springs appear to be seated properly in the upper and lower locations. It appears to me untrained eyes the logical solution would be to install Adj. Lower rear CA's to reduce the pinion angle and therefore less bowing of the springs.
I know many, many people are running just Lower Front and Upper rear CA's with no issues therefore, it is likely I have installed something improperly or am simply overlooking something.
Any suggestions?????
