Default Need a little more lift in the rear

I installed a rough country 2.5 coil and shocks lift not too long ago... I know the kit is suppose to level the truck.... It is level now, but because the front fender is higher than the rear one, to me it looks too high in the front( I liked the stock rake )...so I would like to raise the rear just a little, maybe 3/4" or 1" I am guessing I need a coil spacer ??? would that affect anything puting a spacer in the rear only ???

what are your suggestions ??

thanks

I would go with the spacer, would be the cheapest and easist way to gain it.

For what it's worth. I am running 3" Old Man Emu HD Springs in the front and stock springs with a Rusty's 2" coil spring spacers in the rear.

I had the opposite problem as you....i hated the rake so I took out the front 2" coil spring spacers and replaced the springs with 3" HD springs.

All that to say this. I have had no problem with having spacers only in the rear.

Good Luck!

well, you should be fine if you have a 4 door but if you have a 2 door and you add that much lift you might need a new rear drive shaft and maybe a rear upper control arm. other than that you should be good to go

I found that installing the RC lift (albeit, spacer only) did nothing to affect my pick-up truck's rake. But it did take care of my Jeep's rake--at least until I receive that Shrockworks bumper.

I'd be real careful about that much of a spacer to restore the factory rake. Take some measurements to see where you currently are and remember that the weight transfer when lifting one end is going to compress the springs on the other. In round numbers I would expect nearly a doubling in rake in comparison to the amount of spacer that's installed, and an inch of rake looks pretty huge on any short wheel based vehicle.
