My toyos measured 34 when new. Now they are 33 after 50k miles Time for some bigger shoes.

If your gonna wheel rocks you will love the sidewalls as the are bulletproof. Just air down to 10psi

I would consider the coopers...heard good things and they are a bit less $$$

I recommend the Toyo Open Country MTs. Mine measured 34.5". They are also reasonably quiet for an MT.

Thank you guys for all the info... I will compare and hopefully choose right. I do like rocky trails and plan to go up to the snow when winter comes.

Was never a big fan of sand and soft gravel, so side walls are important.

I've had trail grapplers for 3000 miles and one off road trip.

Road: smooth and balanced. No issues in rain. 5th gear required for any hills.

Off road: 1 million times better than Rubicon tires. Pull hard through mud. Stick to rocks like glue. Show no battle scars at all. Side lugs chug the jeep easily out of ruts.

Couldn't ask for note off road.

They're not. Mine measured right at 34" on stock wheels under my JKU. It's not a big deal. 35"<37"<40".
