Think you have the right idea with the Woods Sunday run down Dishpan Springs. I also have a 2.5 Budget Boost, run stock Rubi tires, and have run this trail several times.

 

I'm going to run Dishpan and part of Holcomb Creek on Saturday, then camp off of the HC trail. I can't get started until late though. I'll be leaving OC at noon. I didn't post this up on my Sunday thread, because I'm getting such a late start.

 

Its gonna get crowded This weekend. There is a geocaching event Saturday . Should be fun! Ill be up there somewhere....probably Holcolm on Sunday.

 

This weekend might work for me, but doing a camping trip to 7 oaks the next weekend for sure. They have a band at the lodge, and all the trails are right there. Great camp sites.

 

Are you heading up by yourself? Maybe I can invite myself to run up with you, I have no problem with the timing. I would love to have a full weekend of Jeep.....

Relaying from Brett Woods... He was unsure if you were meeting him Saturday. Sounds like he is running Dishpan Springs up from Lake Arrowhead to Crab Flats Campground. Then over to Holcolm Creek trailhead off 3N16. He is dry camping off Holcolm Creek somewhere. Knowing him, it's probably near water. We lost cell contact and this is all I know.

Either way, we are all meeting (leaving) Crab Flats Campground Sunday morning at 9am to run Dishpan Springs down to Lake Arrowhead.
