Default air compressor

I bought the Peak 700 Amp (1400 Amp peak power) Auto Jump Starter with DC Portable Power and Tire Inflator...

I needed something for the air so this seem like a good idea....Anyone else using it?

I've got the Pep Boys jobbie. I had the Harbor Freight one but it died after about 6-7 trips. (Yes, I changed the fuse, it was still dead.)

dont bother with the black and decker porta pac they sell at wally world. one trip 12 psi to 25 psi and smoked. course the jump start still works so all was not wasted.

I tried it on Saturday and it worked perfectly - I was at 18 psi so took me about 8 to 10 minutes for each tire reach 32 psi. On Monday I used it to jump start a car and 12v will be useful to charge Blackberry or Ipod when I am camping.
I think I am going to keep this one.

I have a $50 central pneumatic compressor from harbor freight... um had the $50 compressor from harbor freight that is. It was faster then most till it caught fire last Saturday trying to air up my tires. If it's any consultation JeJe has the same on and has had no issues. FYI, after they stopped laughing the guys at harbor freight exchanged mine with no issues so we shall see if I melt another one.

It's a good thing that you didn't mount it somewhere in your Jeep.
