Another newb looking to get dirty
That came off sort of wrong sounding...
Oh well...
I just got myself an '08 X, it's standard so I'm looking to go out on some beginner trails and find out what mods I will eventually want.
Can anybody recommend some parks where I'm unlikely to get stuck?
I have no off road friends at the moment so I am terrified of getting stuck
Any help or recommendations of parks would be fantastic
Thanks!

Thanks Toad, I'll keep you posted if I can make it out.
The original post says that the trail is "moderate", as a total beginner I'm unsure what that means to me! If I can get through with zero experience and a stock JK I'd love to join you!
Many thanks!

All I have to do is get the approval from the missus and I'll be good to go

Welcome aboard!
As someone who's barely past noob status, I can vouch for the folks here that they/we are very newbie friendly. I started off very stock and went on several runs with folks and was never pressured to do anything that I wasn't ready for.
I think somone mentioned it, but Cleghorn next weekend is a real good newbie run. It's an easy trail that is crisscrossed by a more difficult trail. I did it stock, even most of the hard parts! Your Jeep is very capable.
Hope to see you out there!

I think you'll like it here. Everyone here's really great. Hope to see you at the meet & greet or on the trail soon.
