Default ASVAB Test

So i've been in and out of my recruiters office for the past few weeks. I fially have made an appoitment to take my ASVAB on thursday. Any advice on how i can prepare a little more, I have been taking practice tests also to help me out.

Im very excited to finally have the oppurtunity to join the USMC family.

You are around 23yrs old, set in your ways (mature). USMC will give you a new set of rules, best of luck and thank you !

As a recruiter I will tell you that of the 9 parts that are on the ASVAB there are 4 parts that carry the bulk of your overall score. Concern yourself mostly on the areas- Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Mathematics Knowledge, and Arithmetic Reasoning. Study those 4 parts (mostly the two maths) and you should do well. The ASVAB is based off an 8th grade level education so don't get to worked up about the 3 hour length of it. Eat a meal a few hours before it and just do your best. If you know what the FOIL system is you will be good.

Don't do what I did and down a rock star before you go. Once you start you can't leave the room. Not even for the bathroom. I might have rushed the las section a bit. And you can take practice tests on line.

Good luck on your test, when i took it back in high school. I felt it being pretty easy, so dont stress to much over it just study what is recommended the rest will be fine.
