Azusa Canyon
So a couple of buds and my son and I went to Azusa this past Sunday to shake down CJ5 and a Samurai that we had just finished putting together the night before. The CJ5 is hand painted by my friend's 16 year old to look like a Warthog from the Worlds of Warcraft game, rust, chips and all.
I have to say, we had a pretty good time, got there early and left about noon before the hangovers disappeared from the Raider Nation crowd and they started arriving.
Just a note though, the USFS has closed off a large chuck and they charge $8.00 to get in even if you have an Adventure Pass.
The link below are some of the pick taken, mostly by my son in my JK.

No not stuck, but had a little trouble on one very steep and very loose embankment and had a to back down once. Tried it again with just a bit more speed and the momentum carried us up and over with no problem. There was only one other Jeep,a CJ7, that was able to make it.
