Big Bear
Gold Mountain is moderate especially if you have a lift and larger than stock tires. There are only about 3 places that I would say are obstacles; and they are all completely do-able.
If you want a little easier trail that is very scenic as well, try Jacoby Canyon (I think it is 3N61, but not totally sure.) The turn off for Jacoby Canyon trail is off the road that leads up to the Doble Gold Mine; you head out to the trash transfer station (dump) out past Baldwin Lake. The Discovery Center (on the north side of the Big Bear Lake) has maps of the off-roading trails, plus you can buy your Adventure Pass there.

Ya that trail has some lines that could be fun but I passed a Stock Xterra with running boards and a stock Range Rover going the opposite way. While they were going slow they were definitely doin just fine.
Theres a fun rock garden to play in.
