How was the temperature up there at Big Bear? I'm heading up there next weekend for the Jeep Jamboree and was hoping it might be warm enough to go topless & doorless on the trails.

I took mine off and pounded on with a sledge to straighten it. Look like its still working ok. I think I will replace it with the Rancho kit. While I was underneath I inspected and found a huge dent on my frame where the transmission sets on. I hope it did not move the transmission.


I didn't end up smashing mine.. I guess it just went bad.. Replaced it with this teraflex one.. No relocating bracket..

Correct, you want it to be above the bars. Otherwise you will just continue to damage it.

Haha! Yup, I certainly deserved the idiot of the day award on that last rock obstacle

I must've said "yes! I'm in 4Lo!" at least 4x's Well, at least I can say I tackled some hard core rock crawling in 4Hi
