I think we can do that out of one piece and bend it with my torch. It would go faster then cutting and welding. Might not be as exact for positioning but should do the trick. Either way I think we can get it don't easy.

I think we can do one of two things. We can cut it on the other side of the tape and cap it there. This wont look bad. Or else we can cut the weld and peel the top layer off keeping as much of the under layer that we can. I think we can make it work. Bring it over ready to pull off and we will get it figured out.

FYI, I have the plasma cutter but it is only rated for clean cuts up to 1/8" It will sever up to 1/4 so it will work on the bumper.

Hey, I may want to come over and join the party too. I'm happy to help others and learn a few things. I am picking up a Superchips tomorrow and would welcome any help using it. Also I am looking for suggestions for high lift mount placement.
As for food . . . I can bring a salad thingy and more beer.

Wait what? Beer? In that case I will bring half soda half beer...there will be a cooler I assume?

I don't need to make that bracket after all. I ended up buying some fence L-Brackets that will work just fine all I'll have to do is cut but I can do that with a saw.

Holy cow. We have a lot of work to do.

I have a work showcase at 6pm. Will probably have to bail at around 4pm if we're not all done.

Jim - I'll be there slightly early to help you clear the garage.

Not to worry you will be done less than 2 hrs, this was all for you so we all going to work on the lift first

I have a couple coolers but not that much ice. I have many saws, a cut off wheel and for this weekend only a plasma cuter! I am itching to cut something up.

Sounds good. I set it up last time myself and it only took 1/2 hour or so. My dad will be coming over around 8:30 ish to help setup as well.

RoxyBear +1 said she would be there around 11 or noon and has a small side project to work on as well.

I should be good for setting up. I don't think hamburgers for breakfast sounds very good.
