I finally have all the parts for my lift and I figure there's several people that got some parts at the Off Road Expo that they're wanting to put on....all that adds up to build party

I'm not sure if the auto hobby shop here on Pendleton will be open this weekend because of the holiday so I'm thinking next weekend (19th or 20th). Anyone interested?

I may be available to help next weekend. Wife owes me a weekend since she got to spend the last three days in Vegas. Was hoping to do some wheeling, but I'm not seeing any talks of any runs other than the Desert Fun Run going on. Besides, wrenching is the next best thing to wheeling.

You trying to do it on base because of the lift and tool selection? I have plenty of tools at my house if you're interested. I'm certain I have enough for a basic lift anyways. I'm not opposed to going on base if you really want to, but you can't drink beer at the hobby shop... at least not without someone getting their panties in a wad.

I live out the back gate just past College and 76. I'm only 15 minutes away from the hobby shop, so I'd really be good either way.

 

i live in oceanside, if you decide to stay local let me know i'll help out. im going to start working my jeep this week.
i'm doing ball joints, new axle shafts, sector shaft brace, new tie rod, replacing track bar heim. etc. i have a full plate so helping someone else will be a nice break.

 

What's going on sir? Let me know when, I'm in Oceanside as well. I'd rather do the install at Miaramars Hobby Shop. I've done about 4-5 jeeps there. Was there last week installing what I bought at Pamona. The life is $6 an hr. All tolls are free. Pick a date and time. We could always drink and eat after, wanna be sober installing parts.

Storm trooper, Miramar's a bit far since I'm on north side of base, I'd prefer just to do here at Pendleton. If you can't make that I get it.

Saturday would be a better if you're available. I have to drive to San Clemente on Saturday as it is, so I'd be in the area. I assume you want to do this at the hobby shop out in SOI area, or were you talking about the auto hobby shop at top of Rattlesnake Canyon?
