they keep saying we are due one, but i have never felt one. my brother used to live in Carson and experienced a couple. we have the New Madrid fault close to Memphis. one more little excitement to add to the trip.

There was a 2.9 Earthquake in the Greater Los Angelas area at 8:51pm at a depth of 0.6 miles, epicenter: lat 33deg 51' 35" N long 117deg 48' 8" W.
So, YES you just experienced an earthquake, though that is small enough to where most SoCal'ers wouldn't even notice...
