Default Camping TDS 2016 March 4-6

Camp location UPDATED 3/3 4:45pm
Follow the route in the image below which will lead you to turning South on Holy Road from S22. You will find Treadwell's camper and his white LJ on 40s about 100 yards before the bathrooms, next to a 15mph sign. On the camper is a flag pole with a red light that will flash 2 times then pause to spot to location easier at night.

Let's go do some wheelin!

Not knowing much about the new location for the event, what do we think about camping in our regular spot on Holly Road? We know it's got plenty of room, and it's closer to the trails and the obstacle course.

The new event is going to be held at a small sleepy trailer park next to the salton sea... I don't know how all the traffic will fit... Not to mention the general crazyness of the crowd... Should be interesting to see how it all will be managed...

Never been to TDS, my brother and I are thinking of going. Is there room for large RV parking? Or do we have to go park in open desert somewhere close by? RV is 40' length.

The JKFiorum Group usually camps off the S-2 and Holly road. This is right by the training facility. It's open desert and plenty of room for all Rvs . The super Arco is only 2 miles away they have water and dump station.

My family plans on going. Tentative due to trying to figure out the new location of the vendors and bouncy house for the kids

Great point Bill.

I normally camp with other groups for TDS, so I'm not 100% certain the JKF TDS camp site, so if you could toss up GPS coords or a google pin drop I can update the top post.

Here's the area we've been camping the past few years.
