Cigars for everyone
I am happy to announce the arrival of Desert Fox III, a white 2012 JKU Sahara. Stock with 3.73 R&Ps,
18" wheels and rear Trac-Lok LSD. (A few mods are pending) Desert Fox II, a white 2008 XICON was sold to Carmax. The original Desert Fox was a white 1998 TJ Sport had been built up to the point that I could no longer get into it without using a step ladder. I sold it in December of 2007 to buy Desert Fox II. The name Desert Fox was adopted in December of 1998, when I was making an early morning run through Chariot Canyon and was coasting down a small hill and saw a gray fox doing its morning ablutions in the middle of the trail. I stopped and shut off the engine and watched the small fox for about 15 minutes while he groomed himself, or maybe it was herself. Anyway, after the fox trotted off onto the brush, I decided to name the TJ for the first animal I saw after its introduction into the SoCal world. I believe that is an old American Indian custom. It could have been worse.

Congrats Fred that's awesome! Scared me for a minute when Blonda told me you got a new vehicle because the last time I heard from you the talk was moving to the dark side with discussions of FJ's.
Can't wait to see the new baby and thanks for the story...we saw our first fox out in Anza Borrego (kit fox) and our first Big Horn Sheep this year...a really good year out in our local desert this season! Enjoy and hope to see you soon!
