I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the wind generator project proposed for Cleghorn Ridge.

I am wondering if it will affect the accessibilty of Cleghorn OHV trail.

 

Gotta watch out for spill over from Brokeback Beach down there.

 

With our crooked President I'm sure Cleghorn Ridge Wind LLC will take the money and then declare bankrupcy like other Obama dreams did.

 

The article makes it sound like they are going to plop those things right smack dab in the middle of the trail. Too bad. That's one of the very few runs in So Cal that is fun even though it's an easy trail. Offers a few challenging bypasses as well. I guess I better make time to get out there before this starts.

 

WTF! One the few places that are readily accessible for afternoon runs with fun, mild off-roading and some really nice, challenging offshoots, being subjected to government BS! So lets see, 18 month "environmental" review, several years of construction, which will probably close the trail... we're f'ed! And who does government appointed projects employ? oh, government employees!! What about the rest of us?!? Obama is just jamming a fat red, white, and blue dick up our asses and laughing all the way to the bank. I'd rather live in a 3rd world country, work the land, and provide for myself. At least then I would know my efforts aren't in vain.
