Looks like we got a hard group gng up same time. Should be a great day out on the trails. Plus we've had some rain lately up there so maybe a lil mud in the low spots

A friendly suggestion, you should take the dirt road up to the fire watch tower. It could add about 30 minutes to your trip but the view is incredible and the staff up there is super friendly and hospitable. Almost a must if you haven't been up there.

as far as i know that has been closed for years.

The tower is open. My kids and I were up there on fathers day. There was a fire that day too so it was extra cool watching the planes flying and putting out the fire from up there. I agree it's worth the extra trip and the man we met up there was really friendly and informative too.

Also Jayhawk confirmed I will be there sun along with a friend with the LJ. And possibly a coworker who has a stock Cheroke4x4 who is thinking about getting a Jk

I've been there a few times this year. Was open every time.
