Default Corral Canyon Run Sep 6th

For those people staying in the area going to have an easy run this weekend. Missed the S&G but heard that many wanted to do a stock run. Going out to Corral Canyon and do the easy loop. There is going to big trip out there at some point in the near future (talk to Frank for date) so this is a good chance to get familiar with the area.

There are many hard parts at Corral Canyon(Bronco Peak) but the Skye Trail to Espinosa Trail is scenic, has a few interesting spots but nothing hard.

Depending on time (and heat) we plan to do Bronco Flats which leads into Gunslinger. Bronco Flats is black diamond but not too hard. I have seen a stock XJ make it through but I would highly recommend rails.

Like many of you we'll be staying in the area so a nice close to home run at a place we are planning to do with a bigger group is gonna be fun.

For those of you that asked for it at the San Diego Suds n Grubs this is the run for you! From what Dave (Kupost) says this run can easily be handed by stock 4x4 but offers some fun sections and scenic views!

Put me down as a maybe. Heather is going to be wedding dress shopping with one of her friends. I should be able to make it but I might have to bail a little early.

Should not be a problem if you have to bail. I would say the entire loop takes about three hours. If that is too long there are a few turn outs that can take some time off of it.

Hope you make it out Andy! We'll be prerunning the trail we plan to do in a few weeks as part of a camp n wheel weekend. First day will be this run and the next day will be a harder Bronco Peak, Sidewinder (did someone say connector - Chad?) run. See you on Sunday

Where is this area located? Do you have GPS Coordinates or a freeway exit at least? Thanks.
