Default Cougar Buttes Sunday 11/22

Couple buddies and I are going out to Cougar Buttes on Sunday. Anyone want to join? We're meeting up at the Valero station on HWY 18 in Lucerne at 9:30am. Minimum requirement would be 2.5" lift with 33's. No lockers required, LSD helpful. Plan on running Cake Walk, Bull Frog and whatever else looks interesting. Great place to roam around and play on the rocks. Great place to learn the rocks if you don't have much experience.

I'll be in the Johnson Valley area doing some camping in my truck. Probably going to Soggy Lake unless it's over crowded.

No jeep though.

I saw the crew rolling up to the Old Woman Springs when I was heading home. I was the random grey/brown ford super duty truck that jeep waved.

Just was doing some overnight camping. I've got a bent front axle housing I'm working on. Plans are for homemade reinforce and reinstalling it by early dec.

It's definitely a lot of fun out there. I've done Cougar Buttes a handful of times and Motino a couple times. Rigs not built enough to run the Hammer trails yet. But soon hopefully.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I ran the rubicon last year and realized some of my weak links. I would switch out my poison spyder sliders for frame welded sliders first and foremost. I'm not about to bounce my rig off the rocks at hammers just for fun. Hopefully in the next year I can get her up to hammers speed.

Yep, I hear ya. I've been saving for Rock Jocks and 37's for awhile now. Almost there. Can't wait.
