Mine cracked also but, I was able to repair it. That costed $40.

Have U checked to see if it can be repaired?

If it's beyond repair, just call some auto glass places & get some quotes.

Usually the price includes free installation. Most places are mobile & they will come out 2 U for the install.

The crack is beyond repair, I already had it check by a guy that repair/replace windshields while in Moab, very nice guy actually, I didn't have him replace it because you can't wheel for a day after windshield replacement, also he said I would be fine til I get back to L.A.

The crack is about 10-15 inches long.

I really need a referral. PLEASE HELP. The insurance is paying for it, no deductible... I made an appointment with Safelite , they came today and the guy told me he couldn't do it, he said the glass was too close to the frame and he didn't want to take the chance to scratch it....

Anyone knows a reputable company? Should I take it to a jeep dealer?

Just contact another glass company!

Sounds like that shithead just didn't feel like doing his job!

Should be no problem replacing it!

If the insurance company is paying for it, just take it to a dealer. They'll charge you $500, but you won't have to pay for it, and they should honor their repair as warrantied in case they somehow mess up.

And I don't know what that other guy was talking about, the JK windshield is pretty simple to replace. I had mine fixed by a small shop in about 30 minutes for $295.
