Engine 57 6 year anniversary
Today is the 6th anniversary of the loss of USFS Engine 57. These events affected me greatly.
I hadn't been back to the site since it happened, but I felt it was time.
On a side note. Since I was in banning, I stopped by Poison Spyders shop...Big thanks to Rick for dropping what he was doing and giving me a tour of the facility and giving me some info. These guys have some serious business going on over there, I can't wait to give them some of my cash ;-)

Wow how quickly time goes by. It feels like just yesterday that incident happened. I still remember getting the call that morning and heading into work and just how somber the atmosphere was. They gave the intimate sacrifice. That is a good looking memorial and I need to take a visit.
