Event Directions & Schedule
Hey everyone, I just wanted to make sure you all knew how to get to the Mega Meet location and give you a heads up of some of the activities we have lined up for the day. Please note that if you click on the map itself, you can download a full size PDF file of the entire Hungry Valley OHV Area....
Event Location Map & Directions
The Project-JK West Coast Mega Meet will take place at the Aliklik Campground in the Hungry Valley OHV Area. From Los Angeles, take the 5 Freeway north and head towards Gorman. Just past Pyrimad Lake, exit on Smokey Bear Rd. Go under the freeway bridge and when you get to the stop sign, cross the road into the dirt and head toward the Hungry Valley OHV sign. Follow the graded dirt road for about a mile until you reach the entrance gate. All vehicles must pay a $5 entrance fee or $10 is you will be camping. From the entrance gate, continue down the road for about another 3 miles until you reach the Aliklik Campground and 4WD Practice Area. If the campground becomes too full, we will be using the Lane Ranch Campground for overflow.
While you are free to come and go as you please to go out and play in the 4WD practice area or on one of the many trails available in the OHV Area, we will have a few activities going on as well throughout the day and they are listed below:

11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM - Registration & Camp Setup
2:00 PM - Games for the Kids
4:00 PM ~ 6:00 PM - BBQ Dinner
7:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM - Cornhole Tournament
8:00 PM - Raffle Time
9:00 PM - Movie Time

That's either something I'm really gonna enjoy or really hate.
Is the movie feature going to be Deliverance? Fitting title after the Cornhole Tourny.

if we are heading out there from the north should we enter hungry valley at the north entrance or south entrance. im wondering if it will take longer if i take the north entrance and having to drive slow vs driving further down the freeway cause the campsite is closer to the south entrance.
