Default Feeler Thread......

I have the back half of my old JK hard top sitting in my yard, waiting to be turned into a bitchin' hard bikini top. As much as I would like to keep this for myself, I have come to the conclusion that a winch would serve me better. What I want to know is, are any of you out there interested in buying it? Keep in mind, there is a hole in the fiberglass towards the back of the top and there is no glass in it, but that is what makes it perfect for the hard bikini top project. If you might be interested, shoot me a PM. Let me know what you think it might be worth to you. I am getting tired of looking at the hole in my front bumper. It's like walking around with a sheath, but no knife!

I'm not looking to make a fortune off this thing. Is $400.00 fair?

There was a guy that did it about a year ago. It looked pretty good, so that is why I was not too pissed about the guy jacking up my first top. I just found a used Warn xd8000 for $375, so I may not end up selling. Not sure now. I will see if I can find the link to the chopped top.

Well, the 8000 pound winch I had lined up to buy was not a M8000. It is a XD9000. It is also 15 years old. Now I just have to figure out how to mount the thing.
