Fire Chasing

We went fire chasing tonight and managed to get one hill over from the raging fire. Thought I'd share a couple photos.

One year ago the fires were so darn close there was no need to go "chasing" them. October is getting to be a scary time of year here in ol' So Cal. Think we're in for a repeat?

Living in Santa Clarita, I dont have to go too far to see fires. This is from "The Day Fire" last labor day,,,the one that burned up Miller Jeep Trail.

Information only. Several of the fire deaths in San Diego Brush fires over the last 10 years are associated with Fire Chasers.

Scary stuff. One of the houses that Bill is building was right on the edge of the fire in Newport Beach yesterday, so he had a nervous afternoon keeping an eye on it.
