Fun trail
Rowher is a fun place to explore. The Sierra Hwy entrance has a staging area that is great for airing down/up. It also has a restroom. The only thing is there are alot of dirt bike/atv riders there. Once in a while you come across the a-hole rider. It's a pretty big area. Last time I was up there with Toad & Bullfrog, we had snow on the top of the hills. We had plenty of slushy uphills/downhills & mud in between.
Stock 4wd jeep can do it all. Hope to see you there.
Here is the location.... http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=34.57...50,-118.374350.

Copy this into Google Maps:
Rowher Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, Los Angeles, California 91390
Then doing a little backtracking, looks like
Sand Canyon road is the exit from the 14, then on to Sierra Highway.
Looks like a big open area there about 1/3 mile up Rowher road. Is that the meeting place?

The Bouquet side sounds good to me. I have only been to Rowher once, and we went in on the east side. Is there a sign or something that indicates which trail we want to take. I keep getting little wrenches thrown at my plans making me think 1:30 would be more realistic for me to get there. If you guys want to go up at 1:00 (if I have not made it by then) I will come up and look for you guys. I have a CB and a cell phone, so I should be able to hook up with the group.
