gear install

Default gear install

so i got some new gears for my jeep i went with Yukon 4.88 no lockers yet but im not sure if i should try to install them or take it to a shop. can anyone recommend a great shop maybe other then evo that will install gears that i bought and not need to buy gears through them to install it???

or if you have installed gears before and know what your doing would you want to do a gear install party??? i have all the tools needed and lifts

I've done a lot of stuff to my Jeep myself, but gears are pretty tough and way above my ability. Vince had his done by JCFab in Sylmar and they've been perfect.

I did it myself after local mechanic stewed it first time

It took time and you need to be very confident with doing mechanical work.
If I need to do it again I would probably go to shop for sake of time.

well looks like next weekend im going to install my gears im going to invite anyone and everyone that wants to learn or knows what they are doing and would like to help. im going to be on a lift and have every tool needed. the only thing thats going to make me change the date of doing it will be having to go to work.
