Default Generators

Im looking to buy a portable generator. To have as a back-up at home and/or camping. The quieter the better. Any suggestions?

Yes check out Honda EU200I or Yamaha Series. Some come with an 30 Amp for RV's. Very quite and dependable.

The latest technology is the inverter-generator. They run slow and quiet when the load is low, which is a high percentage of the time.
They don't go full rpm until they detect a big load.
That makes them quiet, and longer running.
