This is will be a 5 rating ....... just kidding, this will be up 395, maybe a few dirt roads I believe, mostly paved and no pin stripping on Jeeps, I have an 08 with 3075 miles and already have pin stipping, and I hope not to get any more soon.
Working on details, meeting area and time to meet. Will have info by Friday if not sooner. Will look forward to meeting you.

Are you guys looking for more to join the group? I'd be interested if the schedule permits. Need to check with the wife, though!

water moves stuff around real good.
Sat is the day, we'll be doing Ransburg, Garlock and Goler Heights. Stick our nose in some mines, check out some old stuff, should be a fun day.
Will post time and place Thursday.

I was thinking that if you had a metal detector or just want to try your luck at finding some gold or who knows, maybe there's a geo-cache out there somewhere, we could try and make this a day trip for those ghost town's that are close by.

Basically, a ghost town is any historical town or site that leaves evidence of a town's previous glory. This could be in many forms -- all businesses closed, municipal services at a minimum, rubble and old nails strewn about, ruins of former buildings, etc. Some places that are categorized as ghost towns;
I would not consider Amboy a ghost town, but in reality, it is a ghost town because services are at a minimum. Not my interpretation of a real ghost town but then, O well.
O.K., we are ready to go and here is the information.

When---Saturday Feb. 7

Where--Pilot gas station on the corner of Hwy 395 at Kramer Junction (SW side)

Time-----9:00am, will try to leave at 9:15 or 9:30.

It will take 45 to 50 minutes to get to Randsburg if traffic is light.

Hope to see ya there.

Hey, if ya do Geocaching, there is a bunch you can get out here also to get your numbers up.
