Going 37's
I am in crazy need of new tires and am going with 37's this time.
I have Toyo's now and they have been great. Now I am trying to decide if I am going Toyo's again or Trail Grapplers.
The trail Grapplers are 12.50's (I think) as compared to 13.50's for the Toyo's.
The Trail Grapplers are also like $25 more per tire.
I am, at some point going to regear(3.73's and a stick) and either beef up my Dana 30 or drive it until it breaks (don't tell Mrs. Sully).
Any thoughts on which tire will be best for SoCal and what is your reasoning?

37 km2, its lighter than a 35 toyo, flexes better than a toyo. with your tiny axle you want a light tire. your mpg will inprove as well.
toyo is a truck tire with a stiff side walls that are not meant to flex!

not sure where you are wheeling but i have ran them for 3 years and only ripped one open going over a sharp stump on the connecter at corral canyon a few years back that would have ripped any tire. 3 side wall tears that is just unreal, i wheel just about every weekend and have had 1 problem. i have driven jeeps with toyos and the hwy ride is much stiffer. on the trail i had a good amount of tire slippage. no matter how much you air them down the toyo tire will never flex as well as a km2.
