Default a good place to shop

Well my goal was to get my cb set up before the oc suds and grub and with the help of a store call solder joint it was no problem . A nice fellow named Roland spent a bunch of time showing me everything and then installed the hole kit in an hour. They seem to have most everything to do with 2 way communication and the prices seemed the same as on line . I hate shopping on line so it was nice to find a good store if any of you are the same way give them a try.

Can you give a little more detail on this store? I would be interested in checking out a local shop that knows its CB radios. Thanks.

It is a small shop in Orange. All they do is communication. Don't go expecting a fancy showroom.

You can reach them by calling (800) 345-7234 or (714) 997-8535, by faxing at (714) 997-5646.

Their address is 808 North Tustin Street, Orange, California 92867.

With those hours I don't see a time when I could ever go there. That's too bad. Maybe one day I will get sick but still feel good enough to make it up there.

Thanks for the info I have been looking for a good CB shop I have really bad luck with CBs. I think I have gone threw about 5 antenas and 2 Cbs in less than a year The last antena I drove about 30 miles on the fwy with it dragging on the ground. I think I need to maybe just go to a hand held unit

I am certain that if you call them they will accommodate your hours. A lot of those smaller/specialized shops do a lot of business by appointment.

Solder Joint is awesome. They do a lot of work for emergency vehicles. They really are a bunch of great guys. My best friend works in the fish store right next to them. And yeah...don't expect anything but a hole in the wall shop.

You are all right its a small store with crappy hours but they will help you over the phone and the online store will let you see what they sell . I did inquire about the hours and they told me business just isnt good enough to stay open longer. but it did beat the heck out of my local radio shack and frys

They get a lot of business. Plus, they are owned by another company.
