Default GPS - MyGig training in So Cal

OK, I am not the brightest guy in the world and this is proven by my ineptitude at operating the GPS on MyGig. I have talked to others like me that are bottom-feeders in the IT world.

I have a few questions:
1) Is anyone in So-Cal interested in hanging out and teaching other forum members how to use their MyGig or other GPS unit?
2) Are you technology challenged and would be interested in getting together for a few hours to learn how to get the most out of your GPS?

If there is interest on both questions we can plan a time to get together, maybe BBQ some burgers or dogs, and have a few brews.

This will be fun. Maybe I can stop asking my 9 year old to help me!

I need to learn how to use my Garmin hand held! I have a few buddies that claim they will teach me, but it never happens.

Default Learning GPS

It's great that you have taken the interest to learn about gps so it won't hurt to start here (www.gpsnavigatormagazine.com/ )seeing how you are on the net. But keep in mind that common since and a good gps unit go hand in hand, they can keep you out of trouble or get you into trouble, mother nature is always changing the landscape. And stop the vehicle when you access the unit , don't need to text message when you are driving Have fun and enjoy the bounty of gps
