The hammers used to be my home trails, before I moved back to Virginia. There is no finer wheeling to be had anywhere in america. I've run Sledge in as little as 20 minutes (seriously) and as much as 14 hours.

2 locker minimum, winch, skids, 35s are pretty much a minimum and a very cavalier attitude towards body damage.

Better yet, call Mel at Offroad Evolution and reserve a bay for repairs. I've run both sides and have many, many scars... lots of fun and this time of year it's cool.

Make sure to bring lots of water, warm clothes, and TOOLS. And make sure you're with a group that has a good spotter. All that and you'll have a great time.

Yeah... now I realize HOW damn late I am in responding... so.................................. how was the run?
