Default Hard Steering Problem

Hey y'all

So the jeep has a bit of a problem. While I am parked it is very difficult for me to steer left or right. Only when i press on the gas and roll is when the steering loosens up. I checked my power steering fluid fluid and I was missing a bit and filled it up. I have a bit of leak near the tank where the power steering fluid is stored. I have read a little bit about this problem that other Jeepers have had and they changed the entire pump. Before i go ahead and completely swap out the pump I want to ask if anyone else has had this problem.

FYI I noticed more fluid on the pressure line (can a malfunction to the pressure line be the problem?!?!?!!?) Just wanted to ask if anyone else has also encountered the same problem before.

Sounds like the pump to me. Before power steering you had to move the vehicle to turn the wheel. Sounds like the pump is shot and you are with manual steering. Looks like a trip to auto zone!

Fill up the reservoir, jack the front axle up and saw the tires back and forth to bleed it and double check where its leaking from. Be careful not to hit the steering stops bc you can get air in it that way.
