Default Help with lighting in So Cal

I wanted to do the windshield lighting and was wondering what the law is regarding after market lights here in California. Thanks for the help.

Thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure I was staying legal. Just got the new rear bumper and tire carrier and even installed the 3rd brake light. I don't need any run ins with the Law around here.

Third brake light? What's that? In fact, I don't recall even getting a front license plate come to think of it?

Don't worry, I'm sure I'll still get pulled over in Newport for not having doors on. They do it like once a month and I wait while they look it up. Then they say sorry and let me go 10 minutes later. It happened 3 times last summer.
