Help with Rust
Hey everyone. I have a 2008 Sahara and the hindges are starting to rust along with underneath the torx bolts by the windsheild. Is anyone else having this issue? I can't believe with 18k on the vehicle that I am seeing rust in So Cal. I could understand MAYBE if I was back in NY but not here especially since it is in the garage 6 months out of the year!
I plan on taking it back to Orange Coast in Costa Mesa where I get it serviced and having them re-paint. Any advice would be appreciated since I have not gone through this type of repair before.
In addition, since they will have it for a week I would like to get any other repairs, re-calls or TSB's done on the vehicle during this time. Where can I go to see if there are any re-calls or TSB's that need to be done. Anything you guys can think of would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I know I have a trailer Hitch Recall to take care of.
