Did they have to kick Bullfrog out of the bar?

Had a good time seeing peeps I havent seen in awhile and meeting new ones. Medbender, your tent trailer thing rocked! I would be all over camping if I had that.

i wanted to stay long but since i had the doors off i had to take my girlfriend home before it got even colder than what it allready was.

if i would have know that you guys were going to be there till 10:00 i would have gone home threw the doors on and came back.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Good call Fish. It made for a shorter drive for us and it was really great that some of the OC OG's showed up in support. If I had known that some of you had strayed back inside for one more taste, I would have been mighty tempted to join you. I'm sure my co-pilot would have taken over the controls if needed. I second the motion for a monthly gathering. If we co-ordinate with OC and keep an eye on San Diego's locs and times, it could be the next best thing to getting out on the trails. Everytime I get with other Jeepers, I learn a little more about the quirkiness of the Jeeps and the comraderie of its peeps. Thanks all. This newby is stoked.

 

I look up at the clock and see its 2:50 in the afternoon and realize that making the first IE M&G is not gonna happen. Bummed out.

You see, I live a solid 3 minutes away from the BPS and had been hoping to make it to the first one in a bad way . . . except I had just got the front axle back in after regearing to 5.13 and sleeving the axle tubes. That little adventure was a 20 hr project (took the axle outa the Jeep) and was somewhere between getting the rear axle shafts out and pulling the carrier for the first time. We finally got a good pattern on the rear by about 9pm. WAPITA!!! WOL, you were right, this would have been much easier with a case spreader. MUCH.

The unfortunate part is I bent the locker sensor during one of the shim checks and that little chingadera won't go in with the carrier in place. So my beautiful and understanding wife took me to work today after stopping by Don a Vee to get the chingadera sensor. Thank goodness there are 7 Jeep dealers in the socal area. Should be rollin with 5.13s tonite . . . at about 9 or so. Wish me luck.

So whens the next IE get together!?

first we closed the fish co. then some of us ended up closing the bar ,glad everyone had a good time.
have to figure out the next one,anyone that wants to get it together feel free to take the reins or if ya like i can do it again
