Default It's Time

Since I have joined the So Cal group I have not been able to make any trips, runs, or suds and grub. I have been going through a difficult time in my life. I am getting divorced and she had to move, with my daughter, back up to Nor Cal with both of our families. I have finally moved in to my own place and have started to get back on my feet again. I really want to get involved and be a big part of this group. I do get out wheelin most weekends, with some friends who have TJ's, but would like to go out a lot more with the group. This is my first jeep, but i have a lot of wheelin experience with silverados. I don't have much experience with my jeep and I am excited to learn all of your techniques. I send out my apologies and look forward to being a big part of the team. I feel that when I proudly display and represent the Project JK logos on my jeep, I should also be a part of the team. I have failed to do this. It's time to change that. I promise to do what I can, money and work dependent, to be a valuable member of the So Cal Project JK team.

Keep checking the forum for local runs, I'm sure with all of the upgrades/repairs lately we'll all be out on the trails again soon.

I'm pretty sure we are in the same squadron, I think we were talking about Jeeps one morning at command PT.

HSC-3 right? right on man, I have been looking for you on here. I see your jeep around the squadron sometimes. I love what you have done to your jeep. It looks awsome. I can't wait to see it out on the trail. I really like your Front bumper. I actually want to put the same on mine. Havn't decided on a rear bumper and spare tire carrier yet.

Brandon, this is a good group here in San Diego, and I, for one, can't wait to meet you whenever you're able to make it to a run or get-together. I think the next SnG is down your way, so hopefully you can make it. Some of us are also getting together in Escondido on Friday.

I'm a novice offroader, myself, and I've been learning a lot from these folks, maybe even improving my driving a little. Hang tough, and hook up with us whenever you can. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as the rest of us do.

Hope to meet you soon.

Bill.

Thanks bro, I've done quite a bit to my jeep (and I'm nowhere close to done yet)! I'm in 3 also, so anytime you want to talk Jeeps I'm over in the SARMM building. I'm sure we'll be on the trails together soon, just keep an eye out for local runs and the July suds and grub, it should be down our way.

Brandon,

Like DesertJeep said, this is a great group here. Though I have only made it to one Suds n Grub and only two runs, I have met some great people and have learned a lot. I am sure when you do eventually make it out, whomever you make a run with will break you in "gently."
