here U GO:
The Jeep Wave: An honor bestowed upon those drivers with the superior intelligence, taste, class, and discomfort tolerance to own the ultimate vehicle - the Jeep. Generally consists of vigorous side-to-side motion of one or both hands, but may be modified to suit circumstances and locally accepted etiquette. Examples of commonly accepted modifications:
Top off: One handed wave above windshield or outside body tub
Top off during blizzard: Shiver and nod, hands may remain frozen to steering wheel
Southern/rural locations: Raise fingers from steering wheel, nod
Strainger, I give you a +1! Thanks also for coming to breakfast last week. Good talking to ya.
I had a guy weave through traffic the other day to catch up tp me so his Kids could wave at me! they were very enthusiastic! No, i didn't know him.
I don't know what you guys are talking about?
I got three waves yesterday alone from 3 different Jeeps!
In the RAIN even!
And I live in the Valley, probably the least friendly place on earth.
Oh, maybe they were afraid I was crazy and gonna shoot at them if they didn't wave back.
After all it is the valley.
That’s not a typical day but I usually get one or two a day.
Maybe you guys are scaring off the other jeeps, are you leaning out the window driving with your knee swerving erratically while waiving with both hands? Oh wait that was my wife... shh! don't tell her I said that.
I grew up in California but I went to college in the mid-west and I do admit I got a lot more waives back there.

not from SoCal, but here on the east coast, the number of waves i get depend on where i am. In maryland, i get/give waves with every jeep. we recently went down to NC and got one wave out of maybe 25 jeeps.
