Jake, I couldn't help but chuckle at those pics - your Jeep is overkill for that trail. BTW, it looks damn tough. How is it on the freeways?

Anyhoo, I'm getting wheels and tires this coming Saturday and then hopefully, the day after Christmas, I can start installing my presents (lift, diff covers; a few other things). I'll be off till 1/5/09. Maybe we can hit something local once I'm up and running with my new stuff.
I know it is a little extreme for a fireroad with some small obstacles. It was just nice to get out of the city for a little bit and enjoy nature in my JK. I like those kinda of runs too since it gives me a chance to take some great pictures. As far as handling on the freeway goes, I have no complaints at all. The Teraflex lift has a far better ride then my previous Pro-comp lift. I can't wait to get some new rims and 37's under it! Let me know when you are ready to hit up some local stuff and we can venture out...
We may do a Sugarpine Mountain Trail run by the end of the month.... It's nothing but a fireroad as well, but 2N17x and Cleghorn are fairly close for those demanding a tad more challenge.

All we saw up there yesterday was a few trucks, mountain bikers, and 3 hikers with Glad bags covering them for rain protection.
