I assume this is the d44 he sold you. Sleeved, gusset, artec raised track bar bracket, lower control arm mounts, truss. That was a pic he sent to me telling me it was almost done a while back. Look familiar???
Interesting.. I had the axle built in a couple waves.. Hmm.. Well lets see.. I purchased and received the housing(already sleeved and gusseted) from him back in may, kept in my garage.. Then September 14th I took the housing back to him to have the truss, HD LCA brackets, Track bar bracket, as well as synergy HD ball joints installed.. He had it ready for me for me about a week and a half later(but in defense of that, about halfway through that timeframe I had him order and install the Trackbar bracket and the lower control arm mounts, as one of the stock mounts was bent and I noticed how bad my stock d30 brackets were looking. I figured new HD was better than straightened stock.) after installing my changes, he drove down from Oceanside and brought the axle to my apartment in Clairemont, on September 25th. So with this in mind, I do not believe what he sold me could have been what you paid for him to build for you, as it was my axle he had in his possession at that time. I do remember, I think, him saying something about him building another one, and I also remember him trying to sell another finished axle on the forums a couple months ago. I figured he found alot of interest in axle swaps, lol. That picture however does look very familiar.. It's sporting everything mine has on it for sure.. I really don't know what to say if he sent you that picture.

Hey Dave - the moderator staff is not privy to account issues between IB and Sponsors so we can only tell you his status is no longer a valid sponsor of the forum.

Hey for what it's worth all the back and forth ain't getting the guy back on the road. I have a trailer and will drive up from San Diego and get him moved to a place to fix it …..then let the words fly. I mean laying on ones back in the street with a shoebox welder hoping to fix some elses disaster is just asking for a repeat. Just say'n let's get him roll'n then point fingers?

Gotcha gotcha. I figured as much, especially as I saw his name also says "Former Member", but hey never hurts to ask right? Anyway, thanks for the info Frank!

As always Woody is the voice of reason and saved more than my bacon in the past! Hey Ralph I think the OP got it back to his driveway.

OP if that isn't the case let us know. Ralph and I'm sure a few of us are willing to help out.

Well. Just found out that the built axle housing that Travis built is bent and unusable.
Thanks Travis! What a guy!
